Notă biografică
Rosmini Shaari is one of Malaysia's leading novelists and screenwriters and one of the country's small group of women writers. In her novels she writes about the world she knows best, that of the modern, educated Muslim woman. Rosmini was born in Lulim, Kedah and studied Education at the University of Malaya. Married to a government minister, Rosmani worked as a teacher for seven years before becoming a full-time writer. Her other acclaimed works include The Promise, Silk Scarf and Dust.
