This fast moving story finds Maggie Kiefer and Bull McCloud meeting on the far edge of the Galaxy pursuing different bad guys, but found there was more to a scam artist and a kidnapped CEO than they expected. They team up to unravel a Galaxy-wide conspiracy that would have destroyed the Alliance. Pirates come close stopping Maggie but her superior technology was too much for the pirates.
