The Watchers

Richard Hetzner is in trying to establish himself as a lead scientist for a major company. While visiting his research professor friend in Florida, a rare early spring hurricane forms in the Gulf of Mexico. While exploring the rubble along the shoreline after the storm, he discovers an object that appears to be an artifact from an ancient civilization.

In his search to find the origin of this unique artifact, Richard discovers that he has been summoned to the distant past to a land that no longer exists by The Watchers. For eons, this group has taken unlikely individuals and trained them to release the explosive truth, little by little, line by line, to all of humanity.

The Watchers is H.W. Doty's debut novel about one man's journey to the deep past in search of the reality that exists just behind the scenes, and how that reality guides history.
