The inhabitants of a distant planet face disaster as their sun turns into a nova. They search for a similar planet and locate Earth which they determine has not evolved sufficiently to accept them so their leaders formulate a complex plan to make Earth their next home in the future. Several decades later on Earth, a young mother begins to suspect a sinister plot to manipulate people. She and her family will face danger when her suspicions are detected.
