Alexis was born into a world of mythical creatures, and war. Her birth wasn't normal by any means. She was born to a vampire who had faith in a higher being, and an elf. Her mother and father came up with a plan to keep Alexis away from the vampires that wanted her dead. However after a nasty encounter with a vortex Alexis's path is rewritten. Her mother gives birth in a convent full of sisters. Now Alexis finds that she must run away from the convent in order to save the future of both sides of her family.The head sister that has taken care of Alexis for many years has found out that someone at the convent has betrayed the child. A group of clerics are on their way to take, and murder the child before the week is over. Hayden, a spy sent by the cleric starts to question their reasoning behind wanting the girl dead.
