Bryher Mackenzie likes to read and write stories with big feelings. The Night Whale, also illustrated by Gillian Eilidh O'Mara, was their debut picture book. Bryher has also written Great Aunt Margot and Me, illustrated by Rhiannon Archard (Andersen Press). Find them on Instagram as @BryherAndHerBooks.

Gillan Eilidh O'Mara is the illustrator of a number of picture books, including The Night Whale, also written by Bryher Mackenzie. Gillian has co-founded and grown a poetry festival, children's literacy projects, charity building projects in India and a fine tea company supporting girls' education.
