A short work of fiction, based on the tales a brother and sister tell each other. The Ugly Beauty tells the story of a young vulture named Brownie who is adopted by a family of bald eagles. As he grows to maturity, he realizes his origins and begins to loathe himself. An animal fairy takes him in and gives him his true form--a magnificent golden eagle. True beauty is found within and "Brownie" learns to see past the outer appearances of those around him.
