Everyone wants more time. But if you could actually stretch a moment, an hour, a year...would that make it more, or is time only valuable because it doesn't last?
On his 13th birthday, Liam pretty much has everything he could want, except one thing...time. Ever since his father disappeared seven and a half years ago, Liam has had to grow up fast, but his busy and overly protective mother still treats him like a kid.
But when a mysterious birthday package containing a strange pocket watch arrives from Ireland...from his father, Liam and his mother will get to spend a whole mess of "quality time" together as they set off on an urgent journey to get some answers.
What begins as an ordinary trip back to Ireland, becomes an extraordinary adventure when Liam and his mother, forced to see "eye-to-eye" for the first time, discover a world beyond imagination and travel to the heart of Tír na nÓg, the land where time stands still, to find Liam's father, put things right between them, and stop an evil enchantress from crossing the veil between realities to devour and end all time.
Ideal for kids, parents, grandparents... The Time Makers is a heartfelt tale of family-learning to work together through personal discoveries, incredible challenges and against all odds with plenty of fantasy, adventure and humor.
