The Ten Commandments

It is not enough to know the commandments. It is eternally vital to obey them as well. The whole reason to know the commandments is to obey them.

Of course to obey the commandments it is necessary to understand them and it helps to also understand why God commands them for us.

When you realize God gives us His commandments for our own protection, safety, and well-being then you can fully appreciate His commandments as part of His grace and love toward us.
