Notă biografică
Dr. T. Gregory Lynch is a seventh generation Sussex County, Delawarean, who grew up in the City of Seaford. He holds an undergraduate degree in English with a Journalism concentration, and master's and doctoral degrees in Educational Administration, all from the University of Delaware. In his early career, he was an award-winning photojournalist with The Star Democrat in Easton, MD, an award-winning copy editor with The Delaware State News in Dover, DE, and served as a public information officer for the Delaware Service Commission. The remainder of his work life was spent at the University of Delaware as an educational administrator first with the Division of Professional and Continuing Studies, and then with the Department of Computer & Information Sciences in the College of Engineering. As well, Dr. Lynch held a secondary faculty appointment at the Associate Professor rank, teaching for 25 years the required Computer Ethics course to undergraduate computer science majors. During his UD career, he was cited in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in American Education, among others. Following retirement in 2020, Dr. Lynch divided his time between his "inside" office at his Bear, DE, home working on The Sole Surviving Son or he could (and still can) be found at his "outside" office on the links of Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, DE.Married 48 years to his college sweetheart, Pat, a retired third grade teacher, they raised their now-adult triplets - two daughters and a son, including one grandson.
