Her patients trust her to keep their secrets... But what else is she hiding?

Madeline has worked in the mental health unit of her local hospital for five years. When a new patient, known as Patient A, is brought into the unit one Friday evening following a terrible crime, she prepares herself to help him. But her life will never be the same again.
Madeline doesn't mean to fall in love with Patient A. But as they begin working together, they become closer, and when he tells her a secret - one that could expose the truth about what really happened that night - Madeline is forced into silence.
Revealing his secret would send him to prison. But keeping it will tie her to him forever.
And as his control over her tightens, Madeline realises she's in far deeper than she thought possible.
He'll do anything to keep her silent. She'll do anything to escape.
