The Shepherd Leader is a book on a new leadership model. It uses the shepherd metaphor to simplistically show how leadership should be conducted whether in the corporate world, academia, government institutions, faith-based organizations or social clubs. It highlights leadership masterhood over servanthood, and posits that servant leadership should be stepped up to shepherd leadership because, as a matter of order, a servant acts only when he receives directives from the master. In the shepherd personification, both service-mindedness and humility are encompassed. The Shepherd Leader explains that the fundamental tools any kind of leader needs are the rod and the staff, and that, jointly, these tools produce the comfort and surplus required by the followers.
