The Sentinel

Kaycee Bridger is an author raised up on the prairies of Nebraska, educated in the forests of Montana, and felt ancestors' presence on the vistas of Wyoming. She writes what she knows-survival and resilience, finding purpose and love, and the search for places and people who feel like home. Kaycee writes historical fiction and contemporary fiction (KC Dawn), all set in the grandeur of the American West with strong female characters who life has tried to break. Kaycee enjoys poetry, camping, kayaking, birdwatching, and grew up reading Laura Ingalls Wilder, Bess Streeter Aldrich, Jane Kirkpatrick, Mildred Walker, and Zitkala-Sa. In life, Kaycee is an ER/trauma nurse; in her heart, she will always remain a forester; and in her dreams, she's an author. Here's to dreams coming true.
