Married life is nothing like what Runa expected. But then again, she'd never thought she'd experience marriage in the first place. But for as much as Leif wants to control Runa, she is no longer the spineless woman she used to be. She knows about magic, the trials of the Seid, and how to change the outcome of a war. And she is no longer alone. The war between Ralheim and Malheim continues, but this time over a woman. But there is also a king, and he isn't ready to watch part of his country implode over matters of the heart . . . The Seeker is the second book in The Reader trilogy. The Reader was written for fans of Quicksilver and One Dark Window, and for those who recognize true power is not associated with stature, position, or gender.
