Hunter is placed in a foster home after his mother is killed in an accident. His caring teacher, Kelly Chandler, does some private investigating on her own to find his father, creating new friendships and healing old wounds along the way. "The Secret" can easily be read by 10-year-olds and is suitable for teens and adults as well.
