The Secret Blanket

Patrick knows what it's like to be the youngest in the family. It's the worst He has the earliest bedtime; no one plays with him; and there is never any juice left for him in the jug. It can be lonely being the youngest child.

For Patrick, all that changes one afternoon when he receives a parcel in the mail. His whole family is excited for him, but it turns out the package isn't exactly what Patrick has in mind. It's not a dinosaur, or a truck, or a game. It's just a blanket. This certainly isn't the spectacular surprise he wished for.

However, Patrick's ordinary blanket becomes extraordinary when he is brave enough to use his imagination. That's when the magic happens.
