The First Daughter's wedding made way for the ceremonies of the next First and Second Daughters, Idet and Ilora. Idet was always good at flaunting her superiority, but it was becoming an even bigger problem for Ilora, who was no stranger to her step-mother's wrath. Especially when, in fits of jealousy and anger, the woman began to punish her in new and creative ways; including shape-changing potions. When that doesn't work, Ilora is thrust into a world of turmoil that makes her step-mother's punishments seem tame.
