The Sea Book places the planet's oceanic zoological wonders in a wider ecology of food
webs, ecosystems and planetary processes. Environmental concerns are raised, but without scaring the living daylights out of any children, or their parents. It is a masterful execution of Albert Einstein's dictum that everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.
Super colourful and easy to digest [...] It's non-fiction with a conscience too - a section at the back is devoted to ways you can cut down on plastic, including a how-to on making a t-shirt into a reusable shopping bag. Practical, intriguing and beautiful to peruse..
It would suit all ages... a great amount of information that my daughter and I enjoyed reading together. A must for any children with an interest in the sea
