For the first time, a holistic thesis is presented on the reformation of the runes into the sixteen-rune Younger Futhark of the Viking Age. The Runic Reformation is a companion volume to Stav: Runes, Martial Art, Philosophy. It expands the thesis of the main work by offering a concise scholarly analysis of the structure of the Younger Futhark in relation to Stav. All logic and references are presented in an academically transparent manner, allowing readers to assess the thesis independently. The central questions of runology are addressed: why the reformed runic script contains precisely sixteen runes? Was linguistics truly the driving factor? what numerological considerations shaped the new system? Why the graphical uniformity?
