When Edie discovers a tiny kitten caught up in barbed wire on the way home from school, she rushes her home to her mum, who's a vet. Even though Edie's mum isn't sure Barbie the kitten is going to make it, Edie is determined to nurse her back to health and find out what has happened to the rest of the kittens.
