After losing track of the woman that he loved, Richard searches English towns and villages. A series of events thwart his search, but he persists. Richard was adopted by poor, medieval farmers as a baby and he learned early that he disliked farming. He felt that he had a more important work to do. When he married the girl that he admired, the future looked bright for the young couple. However, the challenges of medieval life presented them a twist of fate that neither could have anticipated.
