The Chronicles is a collection of humorous short stories, tall tales and narrative about the family Rednak. The Rednaks are a fictitious creation inspired by the author's use of the pen name Alce A. Rednak, for his political satire columns and opinion commentary during the 1990s. It traces the history of two brother's immigration to America after the close of the Civil War and subsequent family milestones connected to significant incidents of historic importance, anecdotes of family members adventures and classic characters that were encountered along the way.
