The police have received a frantic call from a man at a motel. He took a shower in one of the grungy rooms and when he came out he found the woman he was with - murdered. By the time the police arrive the woman's body has disappeared. All that remains are a quantity of blood and the woman's red brassiere. Detectives Moore and Hodgeson struggle with this strange case where things are not what they seem.
