The Prosperity Gospel: Where Did It Come From? Gnostic Source? Or Spiritual Revelation? examine the history of this ill-advised theology tracing its roots in "New Thought" metaphysics. Even though many prosperity teachers especially within the context of the African American Word of Faith movement give a vague, but simplistic revelational answers to complex issues reveal the flipside of the prosperity gospel which lacks both the nature and character of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
