Some people look back on their childhoods with nostalgia and fondness, longing to go back and re-experience those memories. Some people just don't. Some people cannot look back on their childhood in fear of what may be hiding within their memories. Healing and clearing a way through those depths is not easy, it is not circular, it is not sensical. There is no right way to heal from trauma, but this is mine.
