Notă biografică
Following three years serving in WWII, Richard Hohl married and returned to farming. He farmed and carried mail while attending the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
After majoring in Elementary Education, Richard taught school for 22 years, retired and launched a new career: writing for children. Attending two "Highlights for Children" workshops provided a spingboard to this difficult genre. Richard enjoyed his exciting new undertaking for 15 years until he changed again-- this time writing articles, essays and short stories. The Prairie is his first book to meet the press.
