"THE POWERS THAT BE" Envy, which appears to be the most destructive of the seven deadly sins, can run rampant throughout a family especially when there are siblings involved. Truly, there is no other relationship like that of sisterhood. There is a stronghold that keeps that love together, but even more so there are sometimes wounds so deep that there is nothing that can mend them.
There is the overbearing sting of sibling rivalry, competition, even resentment, but somewhere underneath all of the apparent problems is a friendship that no amount of pain, emotional issues or obstacles can break. Or is this just some psychological rubbish that we tell ourselves to help us get through life? For example: In the case of Cain and Abel, where one brother kills the other, could there have been any one thing to keep this act from happening.
Jealousy was so deep rooted within the soul of one brother? Could this have just been something meant to happen?
