Zxander had no idea that this was going to be the strangest, funniest, and a little bit scary summer of all. About four years ago, he and his nana had found a little brown tree in the park by her house. He had been taking care of the tree, and now it was tall. It had grown so fast, a lot faster than a regular tree. It had started to make sounds last summer, and Zxander was worried that his tree might be sick. So he could not wait to get to his nana's house to check on his tree. He had been calling to see if his tree was okay. Nana told him that the tree was still growing more every day, but the sounds were getting louder and more often. So he couldn't wait to get there.
