When David Andrews moves to New Jersey, he does not expect that the friends he makes would last him a lifetime. Among these friends is Winter Adams, a loud and energetic girl with a penchant for apathy and a deep hatred of boredom. As the five friends begin to chase the feeling of freedom they're so often denied, David begins to wonder if Winter feels for him what he so intensely feels for her.
