Elise Stark is a licensed therapist who works with children and adults. Art therapy is one of the many practiced modalities used to help children and some adults process difficult emotions. For over ten years, Elise has also been a licensed foster and adoptive mother to more than fifty children. Having read to so many children over the years, she was inspired to write her own stories. In addition to writing and illustrating children's books, Elise enjoys painting abstract art with a midcentury-modern influence.
