A thrilling tale of aventure and courage in which a small mouse and his animal friends set out to find his father who became separated from his family during a violent night storm. They believe he is lost in a neglected, overgrown and sinister old orchard that has an evil reputation as the haunt of fierce predators. The story evolves on two levels.
