A 47-card deck that reveals the mysteries of the Mayan Calendar, giving readers insight and access to the wisdom and guidance of ancient Maya ancestors.
Born from Maya spirituality and guided by the wisdom of the Chol Q'ij, the Mayan Sacred Calendar, The Mayan Oracle serves as a bridge to connect with the guidance of the ancestors. As a Mayan Spiritual Guide initiate with lineages from Guatemala and Mexico, author Christine Olivia Hernandez demystifies the complexities of the Mayan calendar and introduces cards on Mayan Deities, like Ixchel (The Goddess of Fertility and Medicine) and aspects of Mayan culture, like Kakaw-Food of the Gods, Copal, and Jade.
The deck also doubles as a practical tool for daily use as a Mayan Calendar. In the Mayan cosmo-vision, each day consists of a Nawale and corresponding number, so each card does too. This way, you can pull a card or perform an immersive spread, easily discern the "energy of the day," and align yourself accordingly. Whether you seek divination or self-discovery, this deck brings the profound insights of the Maya into your life. Get the energy of the day at mayancosmology.com
