Our story begins with Charles Culver, a hyper-imaginative boy flustered by the mundane reality of the world he inhabits. Attempting to make a great escape from the tedium, he discovers a zany invention called the Magic Go-Kart, and sets launch on an electrifying flight of fancy to the center of the Mirth, a mystical island harboring blunderous creatures and perilous adventure.
