A half Native American girl grows up on a horse ranch in the Hill Country of Texas to later become a renowned medical research scientist. In the latter years of her career, she stumbles onto the most important medical breakthrough in history. The government becomes involved and the project becomes uncontrollable. Humanity races towards extinction while the rest of the natural world continues unfazed. This novella is a cautionary tale written by John R. Redwine from the short story, "Feral Man" which is presented as the last chapter of this book.
