The semester had begun at Arkansas University, where a chapter of MIATAS, a national underground organization, resided. Having had a very successful first year of remaining hidden, yet productive, the MIATAS felt, they were ready to recruit new members to induct into their organization. After some time, lurking around campus, and getting to know some of the students, they selected nine candidates to begin the pledging process.
