My life began when I was born. This is the story of the bumps along my journey, the losses I had to overcome and the struggles of finding the value of whom I am when all is taken away. This is my story of taking chances, letting go and letting love save me. I was born and raised in Tanzania. Growing up in Tanzania, I would have never imagined that my life would someday come to be as peaceful and full of love as it is today. In the first fourteen years of my life, I buried my family, I experienced life inside me and also experienced when it was taken out of me. I have watched my womanhood taken away from me and watched those around me trapped in misery, hopeless just as I was. However with all this, I cannot dare complain because this is my journey. This is the tale of my courage and of finding hope when none was given.
