"The life that came upon us" is based on three best friends, Lalani, Tianna and Brittney. All three girls come from different backgrounds, which in some type of way they found comfort in one another . The girls have a mutual friend name Brandon who hooks them up with a gig at a strip club, and from there that's when the 3 lives start to unravel.
