She's so clever . . . it's no mean feat to write a crime novel that's as sad as it is menacing! Such sharp, clean writing and so atmospheric.
Olivia Kiernan writes with a rare mastery. Her eye for detail is keen, her prose feels effortlessly brilliant, her plot dazzles and yet the message shines true. A total triumph.
The Killer in Me is a tense, fast-paced thriller, the second in Olivia Kiernan's crime series set in Dublin. It's well-plotted, cleverly written and has a great set of characters especially the complex and compelling DCS Frankie Sheehan. An excellent read.
Frankie Sheehan is a wonderful creation and I loved her second outing. The locations, characters, and scenes in The Killer in Me are vivid and fully realised. The plot intense, intellectual and intriguing. This was a very satisfying read and I loved it.
Completely gripping - an intelligent, beautifully written thriller which kept me guessing. Frankie is such a great, complex lead and this is another brilliantly knotty case for her to unravel.

Tana French fans are a ready audience for the second in Kiernan's series, which unravels murder cases undertaken by Dublin detective Frankie Sheehan . . . She paints a rich picture of contemporary Dublin life, its social pretenses and nothing-to-lose characters both crashing against the justice system. Readers will watch for more from Kiernan.

Olivia Kiernan has done it again. DCS Frankie Sheehan is fast becoming one of my favourite investigators and I was with her every step of the way in this, her second case in the series. Expect sharply observed details, a gritty, compelling plot and note-perfect dialogue.
