This highly improbable but demonstrably plausible sci-fi novel is about a kidnapping and escape from an earth twin in the same orbit but on the opposite side of the sun. An underhanded, self-serving NASA official tries to thwart Dr. Everett Kessler and his new wife from discovering the secret of the earth twin, Nino, and the Ninoans' desperate attempt to flee to Earth before their planet experiences a polar flip. With the aid of several colleagues, the Kesslers enlist the support of the world community to build a rescue ship comprised of retired space ships to save as many Ninoans as possible and transport them safely back to Earth.
This tale not only reiterates the conflict of good and evil motives, but how, when pushed to the wall, mankind can rally in a herculean effort to save the needy. And how, when the effort is made, one culture can adapt to another without losing their own sense of who they are.
