This book tells the story of the author's experience of navigating the critical diagnosis of leukemia when she was told she had 3 to 5 months to live if she didn't immediately find effective treatment. The story --- from symptoms to diagnosis to treatment, recovery and renewal --- is told through prose and poetry.
