JEAN PIERRE DURAND is Professor of Sociology and Chair of the Centre de Recherches Pierre Naville, at the University of Paris-Evry, France. He is the co-author of After Fordism, Teamwork in the Automobile Industry and Living Labour: Life of the Line at Peugeot-France.
