Henry Wagner was a very rich and successful Texas oil man. Returning to his home town, Madison Grove, Alabama, he quickly became a powerful banker and politician. His quest for power along with his prejudicial views against black people would play an important part of his eventual downfall. Murder, infidelity, and a superiority complex, along with a determined employee to bring him to justice, would aid in the ultimate destruction of this once very powerful man in the great State of Alabama.
