When Amanda decides to leave everything familiar behind and fly to another part of the strange world with the aim of finding herself and becoming a world traveler, she's just turned eighteen. Somehow, life doesn't go according to plan. After living in Toronto for some time, Amanda makes some life-long friends, has a job and a little apartment she calls home, falls in love for the first time, and most importantly, finds her heart is enraptured by this unique place. So she wants to make this place her home. However, after losing herself in a mentally abusive relationship, suffering depression, having an unexpected pregnancy, being in debt and now getting thrown out of the country, she has really screwed up her life badly. She is in a true mess. But fate brings some angels into her life. When she thinks that she can no longer walk a step further, they come in, carry her through the darkness, help her find herself, make her a stronger person, and ultimately, reveal her a new path to future and happiness so that she is ready to embark on a new journey again.
