This is a true story of Trevor/Dudeman and his fateful journey. At the age of twenty-one Trevor buys a one-way plane ticket to the Big Island of Hawaii from his home state of Maine. With nothing more than a skateboard, a red backpack, and a pair of boots he leaves his old life behind to become a volunteer farmhand to work trade for a place to put his tent.
