Kairi is on her way home after a year of traveling when she is surprised by an invitation from the world-famous "happiness guru." Since the only contact she's ever had with him is steeped in tragedy, she's wary and reluctant. But then she meets a rumpled, appealing stranger who changes her mind. Before long, she's caught up in a whirlwind of events that spin her life out of control.
