The invasion begins with the destruction of Windzor village. A malevolent force sweeps in to capture any person who has magical abilities, but it is a force from the future. Using a magical artifact known as the Gate Key of Time, Cross, Crystal and Josak must travel into the past in search of dragon's ore, a rare powerful material in their time. Before they can lay claim to it, they must help the locals solve a problem of their own.
