The Fortress, set in Iran, but encompassing much more, takes the reader through a life or death struggle with a rogue Sheikh with the backing of powerful countries. The principal characters include CIA men and women, a group of American Special ops Rangers, a Nomadic tribe, and a beautiful Iranian woman and her two brothers, to list a few. It is a complex story that garnered a five star first review.
