The Forbidden Study

Autor Neil Z Miller
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 10 mai 2027
The Forbidden Study: Vaccines and Sudden Infant Death documents the publication, removal, and republication of a controversial peer-reviewed scientific study examining reports of sudden infant death following vaccination. The book includes the complete original research article, an analysis of the VAERS database spanning three decades, a review of the medical literature, the author's responses to post-publication criticisms, and extensive correspondence with the journal, the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and public officials regarding the article's removal from the scientific record. Combining primary-source documents with scientific analysis, the book explores issues of vaccine safety, epidemiology, research methodology, publication ethics, and scientific integrity. It serves as both a record of a disputed scientific publication and a case study in the challenges of evaluating and preserving controversial research.
