The Fatal Fifth

This story begins in Cayenne, French Guyana.

Hector Gale, a street-wise seventeen-year-old amateur boxer, embarks on a plane headed for England. A friendly police officer has advised him to take up his profession in England. Hector is anxious to escape from an abusive and alcoholic father.

He couldn't foresee the forthcoming events that his arrival in the UK would eventually trigger. Events that would involve fame, love, loss, exile, betrayal, and even murder.
