The electroencephalogram (EEG) is the recording and analysis of the electrical activity of the brain, collected at the level of the scalp. It is a commonly used means of exploring brain function. Its development in the thirties and the following decades has revolutionized our approaches to epilepsy and neurological diseases.In this book, we have presented the neurophysiological bases, the principles of realization and interpretation of the EEG.
